There's Still Time to Register for Summer School!

There’s still time to make summer plans for your student! Consider Summer School at District 90 for your student. Registration is open and will close on Friday, May 27.

There are lots of interesting and fun classes that will appeal to young people. Is your student a budding actor/actress? Could your promising athlete stand to brush up on ball handling skills? Will exploring the ins and outs of writing graphic novels appeal to the young author in your family? And students interested in robotics will have the opportunity to program a “bot” to perform parallel parking. Along with classes to enthrall students interested in those activities, there are also classes on courtroom drama, digital photography, Bust a Moves (dancing), and a variety of artistic endeavors. This is only a snapshot of the many fun and interesting classes available in Summer School. There will also be three two-hour summer camps offered in crafts, volleyball, and pre-engineering. Click here for the Summer School brochure, which has additional information.

Don’t wait until the last minute to register for Summer School. Classes with low levels of registration may be removed from the schedule on or around May 13 so that supplies and materials can be ordered and delivered before the start of Summer School.

Classes start on Thursday, June 9 and end on Friday, July 8.  There’s no school scheduled on Monday, July 4. All classes are held at Lincoln School, 511 Park Avenue.
