Today, all River Forest Public Schools were awarded Exemplary Summative Designations by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
The Summative Designations are part of the Illinois School Report Cards, annual evaluations of all public schools across the state published by ISBE. The evaluations are based upon student performance information from the 2025-26 school year.
Lincoln Elementary School, Willard Elementary School, and Roosevelt Middle School all earned Exemplary Summative Designations because they demonstrated exemplary levels of proficiency in core subjects as well as high levels of growth in student achievement.
High student participation in the 5Essentials Survey and consistent student attendance also contributed to the Exemplary Designations.
Community members are invited to learn more about the Illinois School Report Card and Summative Designations at the District 90 Board of Education Meeting on November 17 at Roosevelt Middle School at 7:00 PM.
