Students and families are now able to take advantage of the District 90 Summer Learning Resources. With the suspension of the traditional summer enrichment classes through the summer school program, the District is offering additional learning opportunities for our students during the summer months. Starting June 15, these Summer Learning Resources include Summer Math Opportunities and STEM Activities. To access these resources, District 90 students and families can visit the District website at www.district90.org/about/summer-school. The Summer Learning Resources will also include Summer Book Clubs that are conducted in collaboration with the River Forest Public Library and facilitated by District teachers. The book clubs will start on Tuesday, June 23.
Offered to District students in rising 1st through 8th grades, these summer learning opportunities will be conducted online, and are designed to help students maintain their learning trajectory. The learning resources will be updated regularly during the summer.
