Please join District 90 and the River Forest Village in its One District/One Book shared reading experience. District 90 families, faculty, and staff, along with Village residents, are encouraged to read the book, The End of Average: How We Succeed in a World That Values Sameness, by Todd Rose. The author’s central premise is that no one is average, and recognizing individual uniqueness supports everyone’s ability to succeed.
You can borrow the book from the River Forest Public Library. The End of Average is also available in audio book, Kindle, Nook and other e-reader formats. You can also view this short video by Todd Rose for additional information on his premise. More information will be forthcoming on the events and activities planned to support this initiative.
