As part of the shared reading experience, the One District/One Book effort, District 90 and its PTOs are hosting a keynote address on the book, Mindset: The New Psychology of Success, by Carol Dweck. The presentation will be on Thursday, January 11 at Lincoln School, from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Dr. Ann Batenburg of Mindset Works will provide information about the benefits of a growth mindset for adults and children as well as hear practical tips that can support students in adopting adopt a growth mindset. The Mindset approach offers a framework to advance one’s efforts in the classroom (for students), at work, with personal relationships, and in the community.
