After taking into consideration the National Weather Service’s forecast for tomorrow, Thursday, February 19, all District 90 schools intend to remain open with regular hours of operation. As tomorrow’s temperature is expected to be in the single digits, with a high of about 4 degrees, we encourage families to make sure that students are dressed appropriately for the weather. Hats and gloves are especially crucial. Dressing in layers is also valuable and enables students to remove articles of clothing to adapt to inside or outside activities. We trust families to make the best decision for their children about student attendance during inclement weather. However, as with any absence, parents should contact the school to report if students will not be present for any reason.
