Special Education
District 90 offers a variety of special services for any River Forest child who meets eligibility requirements, including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. The District offers learning disability resource services and specialized instructional
services at each of our three schools. We also provide an early childhood special education program for children with developmental needs, beginning at age 3.
If you have concerns about your child from birth to age 15, please contact one of the staff members listed below. For older children, please contact Oak Park and River Forest High School special education staff, via the link provided in Helpful Resources, below.

- Aspire offers a variety of programs for parents and children each month.
- Community Support Services Parents Night Out. Second Saturday of every month from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Children are cared for at the River Forest Community Center while parents enjoy respite.
- Park District "Teach, Don't Punish" behavior change workshop for children with learning differences.
