The District's Green4Good Committee comprises the Green4Good committees at each school, as well as several District administrators, all working toward making District 90 greener.

 

 

Mission

To promote a safe and healthy learning environment; encourage environmental stewardship at school and in the community; and foster a lifelong connection to the natural world for all District 90 students and their families.

The Recycling Extravaganza on May 4 was  a tremendous success! We had a 25% increase in the number of cars dropping off items. Among the many recyclables we collected were (final totals pending):

250 pounds of prescription drugs
40,000 pounds of electronics
4,700 pounds of clothing 
500+ CFL bulbs
350+ Fluorescent tubes
