Math
We use the Everyday Math program and learn to:
• Master multiplication and division basic facts to
solve problems.
• Apply operations to solve complex story
problems and unknown quantities.
• Understand place value and practice simple
decimal/fraction/percentage relationships.
• Practice customary and metric measurement
comparisons.
• Use protractors and compasses, and other
math manipulatives to construct polygons and
angles to study the properties of geometric
shapes and solids.
• Collect, organize, and display data using
tables, charts, bar, line, and circle graphs, line
plots, and interpret graphs.
• Use estimation and probability in everyday
problem solving.
