Students must include the following: -All numbers/drawings in the Work section should be clearly labeled. -All problem solving should be listed in the Work space (even the easy parts you could do in your head) -Use "steal and slide" to write "I needed to find out" sentence in explanation -Explicitly state strategy used in explanation -Use step and why chart to explain -Use math words in your explanation to explain WHAT you did -Explain WHY you used each number -Use "steal and slide" again for "I found out" sentence INCLUDING the answer.
