Casey Godfrey has been selected as the new Lincoln Elementary School principal. He will begin in his new role on July 1, 2015 following the retirement of long-time and beloved Lincoln Principal, Pam Hyde.
Mr. Godfrey was selected following an extensive search and interview process that involved stakeholder groups of faculty, staff, administrators, parents, and Board members. Prior to this position, he served as the principal of the Lane School in Hinsdale, Ill., which is a National Blue Ribbon school. His extensive background in school administration and curriculum and instruction, along with his commitment to a collaborative school environment that strives to make faculty, students, and parents feel like an extended family, were cited by Superintendent Condon as among the reasons Godfrey was selected.
